Mit Azure Quantum hat Microsoft ab sofort ein offenes Quantum-Ökosystem als öffentliche Preview im Angebot. Damit zählt Microsoft neben Google, IBM und Intel zum kleinen Kreis der Anbieter von Quantencomputing in der Cloud.

Microsoft hat sein Quantum Development Kit aktualisiert und bietet nun auch Versionen für Linux und OS X an. Zugleich gibt es neue Open-Source-Bibliotheken und Python-Support.
