diese Informationen unveraendert an Sie weiter.

Das Programm pkexec im Paket PolicyKit erlaubt einem autorisierten
Nutzer ein Programm mit anderen Rechten (als anderer Nutzer)
auszufuehren.

CVE-2011-1485 – Schwachstelle im PolicyKit

Durch eine Race Condition in der PolicyKit-Anwendung “pkexec” und in dem
polkitd-Daemon ist es einem lokalen Angreifer moeglich, sich als
privilegierter Nutzer auszugeben. Dadurch ist es ihm dann moeglich,
mittels “pkexec” beliebige Befehle mit Root-Privilegien auszufuehren.

Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:

Fedora 15

Vom Hersteller werden ueberarbeitete Pakete zur Verfuegung gestellt.
