CVE-2011-3266 – Schwachstelle in Wireshark

Eine Schwachstelle im IKEv1-Modul in der Funktion proto_tree_add_item()
(in: tshark.c) fuehrt dazu, dass eine Endlosschleife bei der
Verarbeitung der Daten auftritt. Einem entfernten Angreifer ist es mit
einem praeparierten IKE-Paket moeglich, einen Denial of Service-Angriff
durchzufuehren.

CVE-2011-2597 – Schwachstelle im Lucent/Ascend Datei Parser in Wireshark

In dem Lucent/Ascend Datei-Parser in Wireshark ist eine Schwachstelle,
die zu einer Endlosschleife des Programms fuehrt. Damit ist es einem
entfernten Angreifer moeglich, mittels einer entsprechenden Datei einen
Denial of Service-Angriff durchzufuehren.
