CVE-2011-0001 – Schwachstelle in scsi-target-utils

In der Funktion iscsi_rx_handler() (in: iscsid.c) im tgtd-Daemon ist ein
Double Free-Fehler vorhanden. Dieser erlaubt es einem entfernten
Angreifer den Dienst zum Absturz zu bringen (Denial of Service), indem
er speziell praeparierte Pakete erzeugt und an den Daemon sendet.

Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:

Paket scsi-target-utils

Fedora 15

Vom Hersteller werden ueberarbeitete Pakete zur Verfuegung gestellt.
