CVE-2011-1782 – Schwachstellen im Paint Shop Pro GIMP-Plugin

Die Schwachstelle CVE-2010-4543 wurde nicht vollstaendig behoben. Ein
Angreifer kann diese Schwachstelle daher unveraendert ausnutzen, um
schlimmstenfalls beliebige Befehle mit den Rechten der Anwendung zur
Ausfuehrung zu bringen.

CVE-2010-4540 / CVE-2010-4541 / CVE-2010-4542 / CVE-2010-4543 – Mehrere
Schwachstellen in verschiedenen GIMP-Plugins

In den GIMP-Plugins ‘LIGHTING EFFECTS > LIGHT’, ‘SPHERE DESIGNER’,
‘GFIG’ und ‘Paint Shop Pro’ sind verschiedene Buffer Overflow
Schwachstellen enthalten, welche durch ungueltige Konfigurationsoptionen
oder manipulierte Bilddateien ausgeloest werden koennen. Ein Angreifer,
dem es gelingt, eine der Schwachstellen auszunutzen kann
schlimmstenfalls beliebige Befehle mit den Rechten der Anwendung
ausfuehren.

Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:
