CVE-2010-1437 – Denial of Service Schwachstelle im Keyring-Subsystem des
Linux Kernels
Eine Race-Condition in der Funktion find_keyring_by_name in
security/keys/keyring.c im Keyring-Subsystem des Linux Kernels
ermoeglicht Zugriffe auf Keyrings, die gerade durch die Funktion
key_cleanup geloescht werden. Dies fuehrt zu korrumpiertem Speicher und
dem Absturz des Systems. Ein lokaler Angreifer kann durch
keyctl-Session-Kommandos so einen Denial of Service Angriff gegen das
System durchfuehren.
CVE-2010-1636 – Zwei Schwachstellen iim Linux BTRFS Treiber
Die Funktion btrfs_ioctl_clone() des Linux BTRFS Treibers ueberprueft
nicht, ob der zum Klonen vorgesehene Dateideskriptor erfolgreich zum
Lesen geoeffnet wurde. Infolge dessen koennen lokale Angreifer Dateien
kopieren, fuer die sie keine Leserechte besitzen. Ferner ueberprueft die
Funktion btrfs_ioctl_trans_end() nicht, ob der Aufrufer ueber die
CAP_SYS_ADMIN Capability verfuegt, wodurch lokale Angreifer die
Transaktionen anderer Benutzer auf BTRFS Dateisystemen beenden koennen
(Denial of Service).
Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:
