CVE-2008-0067 – Buffer Overflows im HP OpenView Network Node Manager

Im HP OpenView Network Node Manager lassen sich an mehreren Stellen
Buffer Overflows ausloesen. Durch Angabe ueberlanger String Parameter an
das OpenView5.exe CGI Programm bzw. an die davon verwendete Bibliothek
ov.dll, sowie an die Programme getcvdata.exe, ovlaunch.exe oder das
Toolbar.exe CGI-Programm. Angreifer koennen diese Schwachstelle ueber
das Netz dazu ausnutzen, beliebigen Code mit den Rechten des Node
Managers auszufuehren, indem sie entsprechend aufgebaute HTTP-Requests
an den Node Manager senden.
