Schwachstelle in der Bibliothek libpng

Die Bibiliothek libpng beinhaltet eine Schwachstelle in der
‘png_handle_tEXt()’. Wird ein fehlerhaftes *.PNG Bitmap durch die
Bibliothek geladen, fuehrt dies zu einem Speicherleck in der Anwendung
und dem System steht nach einiger Zeit kein freier Hauptspeicher mehr
zu Verfuegung. Dies fuehrt zum Absturz der Anwendung. Ein Angreifer
kann diese Schwachstellen ausnutzen, um einen Denial of Service
Angriff auf das System durchzufuehren.

Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:
