CVE-2010-0540 – Cross-Site Request Forgery Schwachstelle im
CUPS-Webinterface
Das CUPS-Webinterface ermoeglicht es ueber HTTP-Requests, den Dienst zu
konfigurieren und Informationen ueber Druck-Auftraege abzufragen. Die
unsichere Art und Weise in der das geschieht, fuehrt zu einer
Cross-Site Request Forgery Schwachstelle. Ein entfernter Angreifer
kann diese Schwachstelle mittels einer speziell konstruierten
Web-Seite ausnutzen, um den Dienst zu rekonfigurieren und an
Informationen ueber Druck-Auftraege zu gelangen. Voraussetzung ist, dass
der Benutzer als Administrator im CUPS-Webinterface angemeldet ist und
auf die Seite des Angreifers zugreift.
CVE-2010-0542 – Null-Pointer Dereferenzierung im CUPS “texttops” Filter
Aufgrund eines Fehlers im CUPS “texttops” Filter zur Konvertierung von
Text-Dateien nach Postscript kann es zu der Dereferenzierung eines
Null-Pointers fuehren. Ein entfernter Angreifer kann diese
Schwachstelle ausnutzen, um den CUPS-Server mittels eines speziell
konstruierten Druckauftrages zum Absturz zu bringen.
CVE-2010-1748 – Schwachstelle im CUPS-Webinterface
Eine Schwachstelle im CUPS-Webinterface kann dazu fuehren, dass
nicht-initialisierter Speicher beim Bearbeiten von Variablen in
HTML-Formularen gelesen wird. Ein entfernter Angreifer kann diese
Schwachstelle unter Umstaenden ausnutzen, um an vertrauliche
Informationen zu gelangen.
Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:
