soeben erreichte uns nachfolgendes Fedora Security Advisory. Wir geben
diese Informationen unveraendert an Sie weiter.
RedHat Bug ID 503211 - pcsd legt ein fuer alle Benutzer beschreibares
Verzeichnis an
Der PC/SD Lite Daemon (pcsd) legt ein Verzeichnis
(/var/run/pcscd.events) an, das fuer alle benutzer beschreibar ist.
Lokale Angreifer koennen diese Schwachstelle dazu ausnutzen, einen
Denial of Service Angriff gegen das PC/SD System durchzufuehren und
moeglicherweise auch ihre Privilegien erweitern.
Betroffen sind die folgenden Software Pakete und Plattformen:
Paket pcsc
Fedora 11
Vom Hersteller werden ueberarbeitete Pakete zur Verfuegung gestellt.

Summary : PC/SC Lite smart card framework and applications
Description :
The purpose of PC/SC Lite is to provide a Windows(R) SCard interface
in a very small form factor for communicating to smartcards and
readers. PC/SC Lite uses the same winscard API as used under
Windows(R). This package includes the PC/SC Lite daemon, a resource
manager that coordinates communications with smart card readers and
smart cards that are connected to the system, as well as other command
line tools.
